| This is your chance to learn a little about your leaders! | | | Founder and former president: Max Gosey-
Max Gosey was born and raised in the aesthetic swamps of southeastern Louisiana. Through a growing appreciation of his beautiful surroundings there, and through a desire to document his obsessive passion for snow skiing, Max became enthralled with photography late in high school. He came to boulder for college, and during his junior year at CU, he was surprised to find no photography club in existence amidst the gorgeous backdrop of the Flatirons, so he founded the Boulder Photography Club at CU in order to foster sharing of creative ideas among students and other fellow shutterbugs. After presiding over the club for two years, he has since moved on to medical school back in New Orleans, but in collaboration with Christina Smith and Scott Nikiel he has left us a framework upon which to build the club into what you see today. | | Former President Christina Smith | President Scott Nikiel
It's me, Scott, the man with the green hair who's into nature and astronomic photography and who hikes and skies when at all possible! Just for a little insight, this picture was taken with my camera phone (because the cold sucked the life right out of my DSLR's batteries) at the very top of Grey's Peak, the highest point on the continental divide! I just want to prove to you that you don't have to have the best equipment to enjoy photography, especially if you're having fun whilest doing it! if you're interested in seeing some more of my work (mostly not from my camera phone) click here! | | President Scott Nikiel
